Sewing is not a lost art at Making It!Whether you need to fine tune your skills or start with the basics, our talented staff will help you realize your goals.Ongoing Classes for Beginner and Intermediate StudentsAvailable for children and adults, our ongoing sewing classes are an excellent place to enjoy the learning process. Your reservation in the same class every week or every other week enables you to work with your instructor as she shares her skills and love of sewing. The ongoing classes are hands-on, with students using the machine starting with their very first class. Each workstation is equipped with a sewing machine and ample workspace. You are welcome to bring your own machine if you prefer. |

Ongoing Adult Classes
We start adults year-round with skills ranging from beginner to advanced. From the person who doesn't know how to thread a machine to the one who knows the basics but is still confused by techniques like zippers and buttons, Making It is the perfect place to get started! Our excellent instructors will walk you through your first steps to show you how to operate a sewing machine, work with fabric, and use commercial sewing patterns. As you gain knowledge of the basics, you will be able to work more independently to speed completion of your masterpieces.Your first project, a t-shirt, is provided by

to ensure that you have what you need to start on the right track. After its completion, you may choose your own project. Your instructor will help you to choose projects that fit your skill level and sewing goals. For your convenience, we have many projects available for purchase right here at Making It!
Children's Summer Camps and Classes
During the summer, we offer two options for sewing, week-long summer camps and a selection of 2 hour classes.
