NY Shopping Trip - October 23rd
Every year,
Making It
charters a bus to the NY Garment District and spends the day searching for great
fabrics, trims, buttons, zippers, and more with our instructors, students, and curious shoppers. Our stops include the big names
like Mood, Paron, Rosen and Chadick, M&J and more... We'll also be stopping at a few of our favorite hole-in-the-wall shops where
you never quite know what you'll find but it's always something good!This year's shopping trip has been scheduled for October 23rd. We gather at
Making It
at 7:30am where we'll
provide coffee and bagels to wake you up and get you going. The bus pulls out at 8am heads to NY. Wear your favorite walking shoes
and be prepared to be overwhelmed with selection! We will provide you with a map and a list of stores you might wish to check out.
As you shop in NY, our instructors and experienced students are happy to show you their favorite haunts. Feel free to tag along with
a group of people or to wander and discover the many available stores on your own. We should return to Making It
between 7 and 8pm.Ticket information will be available in March. Please stop in or call if you'd like to join us! We sold out last year so get in early to ensure your seat isn't taken!
